Photoshooting Red Bull Air Race at EuroSpeedway - Lausitz / Germany
For 2016, the Red Bull Air Race World Championship returns to Germany for its second ever race at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz. The last time the pilots touched down in the 3.2km (2 mile) racetrack was during the 2010 World Championship, where it played host to the nail-biting season finale. My thrill continues along with the Championship as I had a very good time photoshooting at tri-oval racetrack, formerly known as Lausitzring.
The EuroSpeedway Lausitz is a racetrack located near Klettwitz in the state of Brandenburg, Germany. It has been in use since 2000 and seats 120,000 spectators. From their seats fans are able to witness every slight manoeuvre as the pilots make their way around the track. The EuroSpeedway is already popular with motorsport fans from Germany and further afield.
Each year, it plays host to the likes of the DTM (German Touring Car Championship) and the Superbike World Championship, among other series. It's high-speed, 3.2km (2 mile) tri-oval racetrack is unique in Europe, but is a design that has become vastly popular in the USA for motorsports such as NASCAR and IndyCar.
