The spectacular show in the land of internationally famous port wine was very exciting in front of 600,000 people. Martin Sonka flew the perfect round to take his second win of the season and his place at the top of the World Championship standings. I had a great time in the helicopter over Duoro river with awesome view on the global city Porto.

Porto (also known as Oporto in English) is the coastal second-largest city in Portugal after Lisbon located in northwest Portugal. It is known for its stately bridges and port wine production. In the medieval Ribeira (riverside) district, narrow cobbled streets wind past merchants’ houses and cafes.

São Francisco Church is known for its lavish baroque interior with ornate gilded carvings. The palatial 19th-century Palácio de Bolsa, formerly a stock market, was built to impress potential European investors.

It is recognized as a gamma+ level global city by the Globalization and World Cities (GaWC) Study Group, the only Portuguese city besides Lisbon to be recognized as a global city.
