Predrag Vuckovic is a world-renowned photographer, specializing in extreme sports, aerial photography, underwater photography, specific expeditions, and events unfolding in extreme conditions.
His nickname, Extreme Photographer, has become synonymous with extraordinary imagery through which Predrag transforms ordinary moments into remarkable ones, and phenomenal moments into truly spectacular scenes.
He is a photographer with a truly unique portfolio that stands apart on a global scale. It is rare to find a photographer who seamlessly unites aerial and underwater photography, extreme sports, expeditions, and other projects carried out in the most demanding environments, yet all of these exist within Predrag’s collection. Engaging in action and outdoor sports, Vučković has acquired a specific set of skills that sets him apart within the global photography scene. These abilities allow him to move and work in demanding natural environments and adapt to inaccessible terrain and challenging weather conditions.
He has turned such challenges into an advantage, giving an authentic stamp to his photographic style, particularly in outdoor photography. As a result, Vučković has had the privilege of taking part in some of the most exciting and unusual photo shoots ever realized, as well as reaching places inaccessible to other photographers.
Through his photographs, he has immortalized historical moments in which athletes pushed the limits of their capabilities, performed feats for the first time, and set or broke records. Aerial and underwater photography form an essential part of his rich portfolio.
Vučković has over 26 years of diving experience and more than 2,000 hours underwater, and is also an SSI scuba diving instructor. With more than 500 hours of photography from airplanes and helicopters, aerial photography represents an integral and highly developed part of his work, enabling him to create extraordinary images.
A master of action photography, Vučković has documented more than 600 sports events across 78 countries throughout his career. In an era of oversaturated content and constant visual noise, his images have consistently stood out.
His photographs have appeared on more than 500 covers worldwide, while his work has been published countless times in magazines, newspapers, digital platforms, and distributed through the world’s leading press agencies such as Reuters, Associated Press, Sipa, Euro News, Getty Images, etc. His images have reached global audiences via major international media outlets such as Forbes, CNN, BBC, ABC News, The Telegraph, Sky News, and others, a level of visibility achieved by only a small number of photographers today. Beyond the media landscape, Vučković’s work has also entered the institutional world of art and photography.
His photographs have been exhibited by renowned museums in Brooklyn, Houston, and Switzerland, an exceptional recognition that places his work at the intersection of documentary and action photography.
In 2002, he founded, edited, and published the lifestyle magazine X-FITNESS. In 2006, he also started publishing X-SPORTS magazine. Over time, his publishing agency evolved into the company EXTREME MEDIA. Today, the company produces advertising campaigns for clients and celebrities globally. In 2010, Predrag founded the Extreme Canyoning Team, specializing in outdoor and canyoning activities, with a focus on guided group tours.
Vučković is also working on a personal project titled From a Different Perspective, a series of photo monographs. To date, he has published four volumes – two editions dedicated to Montenegro, as well as editions focusing on Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. These books present photographs of 100 locations across these countries, revealing well-known, lesser-known, and previously unseen places, all captured from a distinct and unconventional perspective.
