It’s always a pleasure to see a cover page with my image on it, so here I present to you the spring edition of Polish magazine “PLACE” with my photograph from Red Bull Air Race series with Luke Czepiela inside the cockpit of his fast aerobatic plane. Red Bull Air Race is very challenging sport for photoshooting, but the images are truely amazing.
WHO IS LUKE CZEPIELA?
Luke Czepiela is an accomplished aerobatics pilot in Poland and a commercial pilot who flies the Airbus A320 series. In his second year of flying aerobatic competitions he won the L. Marchelewski Memorial and took 3rd place at the Polish Natioanal Aerobatic Championships. Czepiela has worked as the crew chief for the UK’s prestigious Honda Dream Team aerobatics display group, and since 2006 has worked as Poland’s correspondent for Pilot Club Magazine.
Czepiela, who also holds an engineering degree, has developed extensive experience in operations working at the EFG Flying School. He has also worked as a European sales executive responsible for five Eastern European countries for a British aviation company from 2004 to 2009.
Czepiela enjoys aerobatic flying and aspires to become the best Polish air display pilot and national team member. He is also an avid hiker who relaxes by swimming, gliding, rock climbing and car racing.
