So far, my photos had been published numerous times on the cover pages around the world. Nevertheless, it is always a pleasure to have another cover page. The pleasure is even bigger when it comes to some of my favorite photos, or one of the persons with whome I always have a pleasure to work. In this case, it is my friend, Serbian lovely girl Ivana Spanovic, one of the best athlete in the world in the “Long Jump” discipline, or else known as “The Flying Lady” as she was called by editors of “ARENA” magazine!
WHO IS IVANA SPANOVIC?
Ivana Španović is Serbian Olympic long jump athlete from Zrenjanin, Serbia who became the first Serbian track and field athlete to win a medal at the IAAF Outdoor World Championships. Her greatest athletic successes are gold medal wins in the long jump at the 2008 World Junior Championships and the 2009 Summer Universiade. She was selected as Serbia’s Best Young Athlete of 2008. Ivana currently holds the Serbian national record in the pentathlon and also in long jump, both outdoor and indoor. Besides 2 hystorical medals won on the world championships, Ivana has set another huge success in july 2014. She was positioned first place by rankings from “All-athletics”. This statistic portal manages results of all sports athletes since 1999, and Ivana is by their ranking she is the best long jump athlete worldwide.
