After my desert photoshooting with Ronnie Renner from March this year at Dumont dunes in the USA, which turned out to be really amazing adventure, we decided to repeat similar adrenalin trip but this time in stunning Rub’ al Khali desert south of Abu Dhabi.
People who travel to Abu Dhabi usually count the stars on hotels in order to have the best possible accommodation, but in our case we chose camping in the middle of the desert under tents and open sky. That experience is hard to describe in words.
Once again great action resulted in great photographs, but that is no surprise because nothing less is to be expected from a good friend, world star and pro FMX rider like Ronnie Renner.
Another Freestyle Motocross pioneer acompanied me and Ronnie on this sandy adventure and it was Drake McElroy of the United States. Both of them went on a trick-filled expedition of the world’s largest contiguous sand desert to warm themselves up prior to the fifth and final stop of the 2015 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.
