You’d think that with all the events and projects I cover, the opening of a luxury hotel wouldn’t be that exciting. Think again, because the launch of SIRO Boka Place in Porto Montenegro delivered thrilling action both on the ground and in the air.
I’ve previously collaborated with SIRO Boka Place, so I was already familiar with their unique, experience-driven approach. But this time, in partnership with Red Bull, they orchestrated one of the most extraordinary hotel openings I’ve ever witnessed. The ceremony was elevated quite literally by the aerobatics of the Red Bull Flying Bulls team from the Czech Republic, the jaw-dropping skills of freestyle tennis performer Stefan Bojić, and an elite CrossFit demonstration by Balkan powerhouse Luka Đukić.
The event kicked off with high-energy CrossFit action led by Đukić, setting the tone for a day rooted in movement, performance, and strength. This was followed by Bojić, who mesmerized the audience with his trademark tennis trick shots, combining athleticism with artistic flair.
The highlight of the event came from above. The Red Bull Flying Bulls took over the sky above Tivat with their gravity-defying aerial stunts. Nestled within the UNESCO protected Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, SIRO Boka Place opened its doors to guests this May. The immersive lifestyle brand devised by Kerzner International, at the iconic Porto Montenegro in Tivat, is the brand’s second hotel.
Surrounded by undisturbed nature, SIRO Boka Place is a sanctuary that offers a range of rooms, suites and apartments designed to enhance recovery, well-being and functionality. As with all SIRO rooms, the state-of- the-art accommodations at SIRO Boka Place integrate functional amenities, soothing interiors and recovery equipment. The environment is supported by thermo-regulated mattresses that ensure optimal body temperature for deep sleep. I have worked individually with all parties involved in this project before, but it was something special to see them all together in one place, in such an unexpected setting.
