Photo shooting with the best ever Ski Jumping sportswoman is sure enough a special pleasure. In the great ambience of Slovenacka Planica all the conditions for the great outcome of the pictures are fulfilled. Beautiful surroundings, unbelievable nature and great mood throughout the whole team surely contributed our plan for a good photo shoot. The only odd thing out was us shooting a 100% winter sport in the middle of summer, but that was surely one of the special challenges that was set up for us to overcome. Regardless of the sun and the lack of snow, our motivation was off the charts. We enjoyed in every possible way!

A brilliant ski jumper who’s on her way to establishing an unprecedented record.

Sara Takanashi stands alone within male and female ski jumping as the only athlete to have reached the milestone of 56 individual World Cup wins.

It was evident from the start of Takanashi’s career that she was a special talent. She set a FIS youth record during the 2011 Continental Cup and followed that up with sixth place in the World Championship that same year. On her World Cup debut in Lillehammer, also in 2011, she finished an impressive fifth overall.

Since then, Takanashi has been smashing records on ski jumps all over the world. She became the youngest ever overall World Cup winner during the 2012–13 season. She was back on the jumps for the 2013–14 season to make it back-to-back overall World Cup titles. Two more consecutive overall World Cup victories followed in the 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons.
