The reveal party for this year’s Red Bull SoundClash brought incredible energy and atmosphere. The most glamorous pop-folk diva, Seka Aleksić, and one of the greatest rappers, composers, producers, and the creator of an entire genre, Rasta, announced an absolute spectacle, happening on June 28 at Luka Beograd.
In Belgrade, you don’t have to invite people to a party twice, but Red Bull SoundClash introduces an entirely new format that audiences in Serbia seem to love. I had the chance to photograph the previous two editions – the first featuring Lepa Brena vs. Senidah, and the second with Marija Šerifović vs. Relja.
Both events were packed with great music, strong performances, and the kind of energy that kept the audience singing and dancing all night. What I love most about photographing Red Bull SoundClash events is capturing that raw, electrifying atmosphere – the expressions, the movements, the moments that can’t be staged.
The reveal party gave us just a glimpse of what’s coming this June, and I have a feeling it’s going to be another Red Bull SoundClash people will be talking about long after the last song fades out.
