Sometimes it is not easy to choose unique and creative place for photoshooting in the same time, but if you include in it world famous “Infinity Pool” as playground and the planet’s best freerunning athletes you will get amazing shots! Freerunning is all about expressing oneself with body movements as creatively as possible in an environment without limitations.
The “Andronis Luxury Suites” on the picturesque Greek island of Santorini, which was voted the “most romantic hotel on earth” is usually filled with honeymooners or vacationing celebrities such as American TV star Kim Kardashian or director David Yates (of “Harry Potter” fame). But the hotel’s famous “ Infinity Pool” was turned into a playground all for the world’s best freerunning athletes.
At a photo shooting session ahead of the “Red Bull Art of Motion” Ryan Doyle (GBR), Jason Paul (GER), Bart van der Linden (NED) and Marcus Gustafsson (SWE) showed off their incredible dynamics and body control. Freerunning is all about expressing oneself with body movements as creatively as possible in an environment without limitations.
On the island of Santorini the freerunners will be moving down the world-famous white rooftops of the city perched on the rocky cliffs over the Aegean Sea and end up directly in a swimming pool. I already worked many times with this amazing athletes but this time was such a nice experience for all of us!
