Predrag Vučković received a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Budva Sports and Arts Film Festival (BSAFF). This prestigious award comes as a recognition of his decades-long contributions to sport, photography, and visual storytelling.
Widely known as the Extreme Photographer and official photographer for Red Bull, Vučković has built a career that only a few photographers can match. Over the years, his images have graced more than 500 magazine covers worldwide, capturing everything from adrenaline-fueled projects, where athletes have moved the boundaries of what is possible, to the silence of underwater depths.

He has photographed more than 600 sports events across 75 countries, working with elite athletes and global stars, and has had the privilege of shooting projects in places few people have ever been to. His photographs have been featured countless times in leading magazines, newspapers, and press agencies.
A special highlight of his career is the acclaimed monograph “Montenegro from a Different Perspective”, which showcases 200 unique locations throughout the country, blending art with a passion for discovery.

“I believe anyone would feel happy and proud when receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award, and rightfully so. This award is truly a great honor. It is yet another confirmation of everything I’ve done so far. The phrase Lifetime Achievement sounds so serious that when I realized I was the recipient, I must admit, I felt a bit scared. Does this mean I’ve grown old and it’s time to slowly step aside? But no, absolutely not. I see this award as a crown on decades of work, effort, and dedication to photography, but also as a motivation to keep moving forward,” says Vučković.

ABOUT BSAFF

The Budva Sports & Arts Film Festival (BSAFF) was founded in 2023 with the mission of promoting sport, art, and culture through film. In cooperation with FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs), which brings together more than 130 members worldwide, Montenegro has proudly joined this prestigious international network.

The festival’s repertoire includes short documentaries and feature-length films, all centered on sport, movement, performance, and artistic expression. This event also gives out awards in multiple categories, encourages works that explore the emotional, social, and cultural dimensions of sport, and challenges the way sports films are traditionally perceived.
The BSAFF is already recognized as a platform for inspiring film stories that celebrate athletic excellence and artistic creativity, enrich cultural heritage, and promote the development of Olympic values in the region.
