Music events are very rare on my photography list, but after my last photoshooting in 2014 the Red Bull Soundclash in Zenica, BIH most certainly I will change that in the future. Energy during this photoshooting was something special, because the atmosphere that bands and the audience created was something to be remembered as special.
The event for which a spare ticket everyone wanted, the first regional Red Bull Soundclash, fulfilled all expectations, and many were exceeded. The bands Dubioza kolektiv and S.A.R.S. performed a true spectacle, in delirium casting crowded Arena in Zenica. The atmosphere was boiling before the Dubioza and S.A.R.S even appeared on the stage. The host of the evening Frankie and DJ Soul at the very beginning performed a ‘hell’ set that put the complete Arena in motion. Even then it was clear that this will be one of those special nights filled with incredibly good energy. When Dubioza and S.A.R.S appeared on the scene that was confirmed.
The Arena exploded right in the opening tunes that they played for warming up. And so it remained until the end. The bands performed on two stages at opposite ends of the hall alternately playing while the audience, which was in between stages, sang each song.
Dubioza and S.A.R.S. finally merged on one stage, and famous street singer Suvad Veletanlić, known from the video ‘Kokuz’ also appeared.
In the end, it would be unfair not to mention the superb production of the whole event – hall, organization, phenomenal sound and lighting, which really raised the standard when it comes to the organization of similar events in BiH.
