At the beginning of November, the quiet Frohburger Dreieck near Leipzig transformed into a roaring arena as Red Bull Stoppelboss 2025 brought together amateurs and pros for one of the wildest off-road races Germany has ever seen.

At first glance, it might look like just another enduro event, but Red Bull Stoppelboss is anything but ordinary. It carries all the thrill and intensity of classic enduro racing, yet it stands out with its unique atmosphere and fresh format. You don’t often get the chance to photograph 300 riders charging through dusty stubble fields. It was a challenge not only for the competitors but also for me as a photographer, trying to capture the raw motion, grit, and rhythm of the race.

The atmosphere at enduro events is always special, you can truly feel the spirit of the sport pulsing through both the riders and the crowd. This event was no exception. It felt great to be surrounded once again by that enduro energy and the unmistakable mix of dust, engines, and passion.

Leading the charge were Manuel “Mani” Lettenbichler freshly crowned Hard Enduro World Champion, and Simon Längenfelder reigning MX2 World Champion, this time sidelined by injury but still leading his team from the pits with the same fire he brings to the track. The showdown was simple: Team Mani vs. Team Simon on a 2.5-kilometer loop across harvested farmland packed with straw-bale jumps, log piles, tight corners, and even a tractor-trailer ramp for good measure.

A crowd of 5,000 fans never stopped cheering, dust clouds rising with every throttle twist, engines screaming, and riders charging through the chaos in a Le Mans-style start that sent adrenaline surging through the fields.

In the end, Maximilian Spies conquered the chaos with a blistering 24:39 finish, earning the title of Red Bull Stoppelboss 2025. But results were almost secondary to the raw joy, camaraderie, and spectacle. As Lettenbichler put it, “I never thought the vibe would be this insane — this was a success on every level.”
INSIDE THE SHOOT WITH PREDRAG VUCKOVIC
Predrag Vuckovic has extensive and long-term experience in covering hard enduro races, one of the most demanding disciplines in motorsport. Hard enduro involves riding motorcycles through rugged mountain terrain and extreme off-road conditions, where competitors on their two-wheel machines overcome rocks, mud, rivers, and steep climbs.
When it comes to capturing these challenging events, Predrag Vuckovic has honed his skill and creativity at some of the toughest races in the world, including Red Bull Romaniacs one of the most grueling hard-enduro competitions globally, as well as the Xross Challenge Hard Enduro Rally held in his home country of Serbia.

While multi-day rallies such as Red Bull Romaniacs or Xross Challenge test both riders and photographers over several stages, the experience Vuckovic gained there allowed him to bring the same level of focus to Red Bull Stoppelboss, a race that, unlike traditional hard-enduro events, lasts only a few adrenaline-packed hours but delivers the same intensity and energy.
