Bosnia and Herzegovina from a Different Perspective is another deeply personal, major project that I am especially proud of. This is the fourth book in my authorial series, following two editions of Montenegro from a Different Perspective and Serbia from a Different Perspective. However, my adventure does not end here, it will continue and reach its own epilogue.
The entire project lasted 17 months. During that time, I visited 101 locations and published 164 photographs across 215 pages of the book. Visiting so many locations is far from a simple task, which perhaps best illustrates just how demanding and exciting this project truly was.
Through my lens, Bosnia and Herzegovina revealed itself as a land of contrasts. No one can remain indifferent to the almost unreal scenes of untouched nature, powerful waterfalls, and crystal-clear rivers in shades of turquoise and emerald. Majestic mountain ranges and impressive canyons reveal the strength and richness of nature, leaving you breathless.
Fairytale castles and fortresses tell stories of distant times and a rich history, while cities where influences of different cultures and religions merge into an unusual mosaic make this country truly unique.
This book truly presents Bosnia and Herzegovina as you have never had the opportunity to see it before.
The promotion of this photo monograph was nothing less than spectacular. It was held in the solemn and symbolically powerful setting of Sarajevo City Hall, whose interior fully justifies why it is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Sarajevo.
The event gathered numerous representatives of institutions, the diplomatic corps, the cultural and creative industries, project partners, media representatives, and distinguished guests. The project is already being recognized as one of the most significant cultural and creative initiatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina over the past decade. The photo monograph was produced as a luxury bilingual edition, in Bosnian and English, meeting the highest standards of design, printing, and production. It was conceived not only as a top-tier artistic work.
During the promotion, Vuckovic shared his professional journey, global achievements, and numerous international projects and adventures that shaped him as an author and visual storyteller, ultimately leading to the realization of this book.
